Etang de La Horre

A 250 acre lake set in a forest, in the Champagne region of France. We have only 14 double swims, so there is plenty of room for everyone. Stocked many years ago with small carp, which have now grown to a very good average. At the right time of year there is an estimated 150 carp over 50lb. By far the best big fish lake in the region. The biggest caught to date - Common 73lb 14oz, Mirror 72lb, Grass carp 76lb 8oz (a possible  French record). There are no poison chat and very few crayfish.

                                                                                                                                                   There is also a shop on site that sells a good choice of tackle and bait.

Baitboats are not allowed on this lake.
